Discover Scuba Diving

*Approximately 3 hrs.
The PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) course is designed for those who aren't ready for, or may not have the time, to complete a full certification course. A DSD is easier and more enjoyable than snorkeling or SNUBA.
You can do it off the beach, or off the boat, the choice is yours.
All our Dive Instructors have years of experience to insure you have a safe, fun filled time.
We specialize in teaching diving to those who have had a hard time in the past. Guaranteed to be an experience you will treasure for a lifetime.

The PADI Scuba Diver program is an extension of the Discover Scuba Diving program.
This will allow you to dive with supervision of a Dive Professional down to 40 ft.
This program can be used as a stepping stone to the Open Water course for those who may not have enough time to complete the full certification course while here in Maui.
You will complete two open water dives and a portion of the academic theory course, to achieve this level of certification.
*2nd day may be required for academic progress portion.

The Adventure Diver course is a subset of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.
Have you always wanted to try digital underwater photography, fish identification or dry suit diving?
There’s a long list of scuba adventures you can take part in during this program.
Complete three Adventure Dives and you earn the Adventure Diver certification.
It’s a great opportunity to work with your instructor to build your scuba skills and gain more confidence.
Get credit! Each Adventure Dive may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver Course. If you’ve already taken a specialty diver course, ask your instructor if you’ve earned credit for an Adventure Dive.

This course is designed to give new divers additional training and diving experience, to hone your skills as a recreational diver.
This course is 5 dives completed from the beach over two days.
Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation are required dives, 3 Elective dives may be chosen. Some electives are additional cost to the base course price of $300.

Scuba divers look up to divemasters because they are leaders who mentor and motivate others.
As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot, but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do.
The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, you’ll fine-tune your dive skills, like perfecting the effortless hover, and refine your rescue skills so you anticipate and easily solve common problems.
You’ll gain dive knowledge, management and supervision abilities so you become a role model to divers everywhere.
As a PADI Divemaster, you’ll lead others as you supervise scuba diving activities and assist with diver training.
Whether you want to work at a faraway dive destination or close to home at a local dive shop, the adventure of a lifetime awaits you.
Divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken.
Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed.
You will learn to be a better dive buddy and to become a responsible diver!
This course will prepare you for those circumstances in diving that may require you to give assistance to another diver.by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature. Plus, the course is just fun – it’s serious, but still allows for lots of laughter in between the focused learning.
Divers that complete the PADI E-Learning Rescue Diver course may be able to complete this course in one day with us here in Maui.
Those that choose to complete the academic course on island will need to plan for two full days with us, and possibly a third if you are in need of the Emergency First Response/CPR course.
Emergency First Response training focuses on building confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Course participants learn simple to follow steps for emergency care and practice applying skills in a nonstressful learning environment.
A good course for anyone that spends time in the outdoors, especially for divers.
This course is required for those wishing to participate in the Rescue Diver program. This may be completed prior to enrolling in the course, or as an extra day with the Rescue Diver Program.
